Anybody need a lot? [Jul. 5th, 2007|07:55 pm]

So my summer has been, in all the normal ways, uneventful thus far. In the abnormal ways, it has been a little more interesting.

Life around my house has been...unpleasant since summer started. Yes. We'll call it that. There's a rift that suddenly appeared between my grandparents and my mom over completely stupid things. Not joking: they're completely ridiculous (my grandparents are being ridiculous, not my mom). What it comes down to is that my mom, brother, and I will probably be moving some time in the next few months. Not out of district - Mom knows how awful that would be for us, and me in particular (can you imagine leaving the district for senior year? Ugh). We're looking in Burlington or in one of those subdivisions off of 20 - Randall Ridge and a couple others near there. There's also a house for sale off Empire somewhere.

My mom owns the lot next door to the house we're living in now, and our ability to move depends on the sale of that lot. That's the fund for the new house, basically. The real estate market sucks, pretty much, but our lot has been on the market for two days and our realtor was surprised by the number of inquiries she's gotten already. So while that doesn't mean it will sell soon, it certainly isn't bad news. If you know anybody who wants to move into Hampshire and yet send their kids to District 301 rather than 300, send them our direction! Selling the lot will be a great relief.

So it's going to be awkward for a while around here, and there's no guarantee that moving will make anything better, but...it seems there's nothing else to be done. And...that's my life currently. Just to make it more interesting.

Erin, you simply must move over here! Do you know how much my love for you will grow if you were like two feet away! Then again, you'd get sick of me uber quick.

Nah, I'm actually kind of hoping that we get the house on Empire. It's not in the Windings, but it is off Empire, so how far away can it be? That would be pretty amazing - being a couple minutes away from the Windings crowd rather than like...20-25 minutes.

That would be amazing if you moved closer to the windings. But why not in the windings? There are a lot of houses for sale. Are you looking in one of the subdivisions off of empire? If you moved closer I could pop by more often. But then there are a few problems: I never really pop by now, Andrea might get uber pissed (although I am starting to care less and less), and the big one... college (gasp!). Athough, you never know maybe Rob and Sarah will hit it off (Please dear God no... or maybe...). Although I ultimately hope that everything turns out all right in the end, whether you stay where you are or not. By the way, who else lives in here besides Ginger, Ayla, and me that I know of as friends?

The Windings itself is probably way too expensive for us. Otherwise I'd be all for it. Yeah; the subdivision the house is in is off Hanson. Ally lives in the Windings, Andrew does, Amanda does...lots of people live in the Windings.

Can I ask why you care less and less if Andrea gets pissed?

Stupid me, I forgot about them! How could I forget them!? I would rather talk about that in person or on the phone. It is something that cant really be explained in writing, I also dont want other people seeing my response.
